Abstract

En los últimos meses, las estadísticas del producto bruto interno mensual se encontraron en medio del debate público. En este documento se presenta la metodología actual utilizada por el INEI para el cálculo de dicho indicador de producción. Asimismo, se propone medidas alternativas que consideramos útiles para el análisis económico. Así, se han estimado series de consumo, inversión y demás componentes del PBI, usando la tabla insumo producto.
