Wirtschaftsstruktur und Kooperationspotential Aserbaidschans außerhalb der Energieförderung

Abstract

Aserbaidschan bietet sich aufgrund seiner dynamischen Wirtschaftsentwicklung als Investitionsstandort und Handelspartner für ausländische (deutsche) Unternehmen an. Diese positive Einschätzung der Geschäftschancen und Wachstumsperspektiven beruht allerdings zunächst auf dem Mitte der neunziger Jahre eingeleiteten Ölboom. So ist die aserbaidschanische Wirtschaft durch extrem hohe Investitionen in die Erdölförderung des Landes, wo aufgrund der deutschen Unternehmensstruktur die Ansatzpunkte geringer sind, geprägt. Im Vordergrund der Studie steht demgegenüber die Frage, welche Perspektiven sich daraus für die Entwicklung anderer Bereiche, insbesondere für die vor- und nachgelagerten Bereiche der Energiegewinnung, ergeben.
