Abstract

Dalam menjalankan bisnisnya, perusahaan membutuhkan SDM yang berkualitas. Lalu SDM seperti apa yang dibutuhkan organisasi, bagaimana kompetensi mereka dan bagaimana perusahaan dan karyawan terus meningkatkan kompetensi tersebut merupakan isu-isu penting untuk dibahas. SDM Indonesia haruslah memiliki kompetensi yang tinggi, andal, dan dapat dipercaya: baik kompetensi teknis, maupun kompetensi nonteknis—kepemimpinan, misalnya. Pengetahuan, keahlian, dan sikap karyawan harus ditingkatkan melalui pelatihan dan pengembangan karena SDM adalah aset perusahaan yang berwujud (fisik) maupun tak berwujud (kompetensi). Kontribusinya tidak lagi melulu fisik semata, tetapi juga kontribusi pemikiran yang intangible. Oleh sebab itu, SDM Indonesia harus credible, tepercaya, dan proaktif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan diri. Buku HR as a Credible Business Partner ini adalah buku saku yang baik untuk praktisi SDM untuk melihat seperti apakah SDM andal dan tepercaya tersebut
