Dampak Wisata Gunung Muria Terhadap Perekonomian Masyarakat Colo

Abstract

Gunung Muria adalah sebuah gunung di daerah utara Jawa Tengah bagian timur. Nama Muria diambil berdasarkan nama Bukit Moria di kota Yerusalem, Israel. Di Gunung Muria ini terdapat makam Makam Sunan Muria dan Makam Syekh Hasan Sadzli, yang merupakan sosok penting dalam pengembangan Islam di Wilayah Nusantara khususnya daerah Pantai Utara Jawa. Di kawasan ini pula terdapat objek wisata alam antara lain Air Terjun Monthel di Desa Colo serta Air Tiga Rasa Rejenu di Desa Japan. Saat ini telah muncul beberapa alternatif wisata alam, seperti Taman Seni dan Nasional di Desa Kajar dan Air Terjun Kedung Gender di Desa Dukuh Waringin, serta mulai berkembang wisata kuliner seperti Kopi di Desa Colo dan Gethuk di Desa Kajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengestimasi dampak sektor pariwisata terhadap perekonomian masyarakat Muria. Fokus utama penelitian ini ialah dampak sektor pariwisata di Desa Colo yang memiliki potensi berupa religi, alam, dan kuliner terhadap output perekonomian, peningkatan pendapatan, serta penyerapan tenaga kerja yang digambarkan oleh efek pengganda (multiplier effect). Berdasarkan efek pengganda, pariwisata dapat mempercepat pertumbuhan ekonomi dan penciptaan lapangan kerja yang lebih luas melalui promosi pengembangan pariwisata. Hasil penelitian ini memberi masukan guna mengembangkan kepariwisataan di Desa Colo secara sistematis, tidak ugal-ugalan, sehingga dampaknya bisa dirasakan secara merata oleh semua masyarakat.
