Abstract

Sprouting Entrepreneurs is an Austrian-South African co-operation project. It supports the implementation of entrepreneurship education in marginalised rural South African schools. Researchbased learning forms part of school-based entrepreneurship projects focusing on the key societal challenges of food insecurity, revitalisation of agriculture and youth unemployment. Research-based learning aims at understanding societal challenges, the development and implementation of projects and reflection on one’s personal learning process.
