Abstract

The Kashmiri Pandit genocide is one of the darkest chapters in the history of India. However, in the absence of adequate soul searching by the civil society and politicization of crimes against humanity, there exists a very strong current of negation-ism in both within and outside of academic circles. This report observes the most common fallacious arguments made to either deny or diminish the Kashmiri Pandit genocide or delfect the responsibility of the crimes away from the perpetrators to either the third parties or the victims themselves. Finally, I propose valid counter-arguments to allow the victims to refute the arguments with reason and logic.
