Kesuksesan dan Kejatuhan Bisnis Fashion: Studi Kasus pada Forever 21

Abstract

Bisnis pakaian Forever 21 pernah mengalami era kenaikan (rise). Namun sejak tahun 2000, industri kuliner ini mengalami tren penurunan (fall). Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui alasan penurunan (fall) dan kenaikan (rise) pada bisnis pakaian forever 21. Studi ini menggunakan studi kasus tunggal pada bisnis forever 21 yang bergerak di bidang fashion dengan analisis business model canvas, business pattern, business environment & value proposition canvas. Bisnis pakaian Forever 21 pernah tren pertumbuhan dan sukses karena memiliki value proposition pakaian yang trendi dengan harga yang murah. Namun, bisnis ini mengalami penurunan karena channels Forever 21 masih belum secara maksimal memanfaatkan teknologi (online store). Studi merekomendasikan key activities dan value proposition Forever 21 mementingkan inovasi dan pembelanjaan reguler yang selalu menemukan sesuatu yang baru di toko setiap hari.
