Abstract

The aim is to find out the number of customers saving, as well as knowing the efforts made to increase the interest of SIMANTAP savings customers at PT. Bank Mandiri Taspen Padang Kantor Cabang Padang. Interest is a person's feeling of attraction to an object. The method used in this research is direct research so that the data obtained is original from reliable sources using observation techniques, literature studies and using descriptive discussion techniques. The development of the number of SIMANTAP savings customers at PT. Bank Mandiri Taspen Kantor Cabang Padang experienced an increase although the increase was not significant. In this case the efforts made are to continue promoting savings products and conducting outreach to places that have obtained permits. Advertising in the form of brochures by visiting prospective customers directly, publicity aims to maintain good relations with the community.
