Abstract

Many assume that there is a social will in society, especially with regard to the comparison between the rich and the poor. This has had a profound impact on social and economic life. Therefore, to balance the social and economic life of the community, especially in Indonesia, there is an obligation of the rich towards the rights of the poor for the sake of justice and the welfare of society. The rich have an obligation to meet the basic needs of the poor, and so with zakat, there is an obligation for the rich to pay half of the money. If any rich man did not care for the poor, then he had the right to take by force. In Islam, neither wealth nor poverty is a test of Allah SWT. , for riches required frankness in keeping them and sharing them with those who deserved to receive them. Whereas with poverty it takes to guard how to live without help with the prosperous.
