Abstract

WhenPPKMrisestolevel4,streetvendors(streetvendors)areveryinfluentialon sales,includingfoodsellerssuchasstreetvendorswhosellfriedfood.Itturnedout thatwhenPPKMwasimplemented,thesefriedfoodtradersfeltverylostandalotof themwentbankruptandclosedtheirmerchandise,sowhatIresearchedand interviewedwasonly3peopleandeventhentheysurvivedsothattheycouldmeet theirdailyneeds.IfPPKMcontinuesandCOVID-19continuestogrow,itwillbevery difficultforthemtofindincome.Iresearchedfriedfoodvendorsinthewesternarea of Surabaya,namelyTandes.Istudied3people,namelyIbuHartini,Elsy,andAnik. ThepurposeofthisstudywastodeterminetheeffectofPPKMlevel4inSurabaya, especiallytheTandesarea.HerearetheproblemsofthepeopleIinterviewed 1.Mrs.Hartini,whoinitiallyonlysoldfriedfoods,isnowaddingtoherwareswith gado-gadoandrujak.Addingenergyandincreasingcapital,butifnotadded,Ibu Hartinicanclose. 2.Mrs.ElsypersistedintradingfriedfoodsbecauseduringthePPKMperiod,the economywasverydifficult.SoElsy'smotherisstilltryingtokeepherfamily's economygood. 3.Mrs.Anikistryingtofindmoneyfortheneedsofschoolchildrenwhichis currentlybeingcarriedoutonlinesosheneedsacellphone,andalsorequiresa quotaorinternetforonlinelearning. SoitcanbeconcludedthatduringPPKM,thecommunity'sproblems,especiallythe streetvendors,arefriedfoodvendors,whetheritisdifficultforschoolchildrento providefacilities,addenergytosell,andselltomakeendsmeet.Fromthiswecan seethatwomenalsoworkhardforthenecessitiesoflifeandevenschoolneeds, schoolfeeswhichareusuallyfulfilledbyahusbandarenowbeinghelpedbywomen duetothiscovid19andthisPPKMappliestoworkersbeingremovedorreducing employees.Economicproblemsareincreasinglydifficultatthistime,causing problemsinthefamilyandfinallywomenintervenetofindmoney. Ihopethatthiscovid19endsandeverythingcanreturntonormal,includingthemain thing,namelytheeconomyinthislifethatwillcontinue. Inadditiontodiscussingtheissueofcovid19andPPKM,thereisalsoanincreasein thepriceofthemainingredientsatfriedfoodsellers 1.Theproblemofrisingcookingoilprices 2.Theproblemofrisingchiliprices Thisincreaseisalwaysongoing,itcanevenbesaidthatitcannotgodownbecause thechangingseasonconditionsmakethechilifarmerslosealotandhaveto increasetheirchili,likeitornot,thishastohappen. Thepriceofcookingoilitselfisincreasing,thecauseofthisrisingoilpriceis 1.Internationalpriceshaverisenquitesharply 2.Thedeclineinpalmoilharvestsinthesecondhalf 3.IncreasingdemandforCPOanddecreasingsupplyofworldpalmoil
