Abstract

This article presents a comparative analysis of forecasts of the probability of bankruptcy, which are obtained on the basis of calculations of quantitative indicators of two modifications of the Altman model: a five-factor model for private companies and a model for developing countries. The analysis was carried out according to the RAS financial statements for 2020-2021. As a result, it was concluded which model is preferable to choose when predicting the probability of bankruptcy of Russian organizations.
