Peningkatan Keterampilan Menulis Puisi Melalui Strategi Pikir Plus Dengan Menggunakan Media Gambar Peristiwa

Abstract

Masalah yang diangkat pada penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan menulis siswa kelas VIII-F MTS Negeri Kesesi Kabupaten Pekalongan. Hal ini disebabkan oleh pembelajaran menulis puisi yang belum terlaksana dengan baik sehingga siswa kelas VIII- F mengalami kesulitan ketika diminta menulis puisi. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi pembelajaran dan media pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan tepat. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut digunakan strategi Pikir Plus dan media gambar peristiwa yang terdapat dalam surat kabar dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi siswa kelas VIII-F MTS Negeri Kesesi. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri atas perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya proses pembelajaran, peningkatan, dan perubahan perilaku ke arah yang positif.
