Abstract

Dalam penulisan ini dimaksudkan untuk menjelaskan mengenai kajian teologis terhadap konsep kebahagiaan aliran Epicureanisme berdasarkan injil matius 5:3. Pada penulisan ini menggunakan metode penelitian dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui pengumpulan data dan informasi melalui jurnal. Berbicara mengenai kebahagiaan yang sudah tidak lazim lagi bagi manusia dan tidak terlepas dari kehidupan manusia. Dengan kebahagiaan manusia dapat menjalani kehidupannya dengan nyaman, damai dan tenteram. Akan tetapi untuk mendapatkan sebuah kebahagian terkadang banyak orang yang melakukan segala hal yang bersifat negatif untuk mencapai hal tersebut, dan tak jarang juga ada yang menjalani hidup yang sederhana dan mendapat sebuah kebahagiaan yang luar biasa. Tujuan dari penulisan ini untuk bisa lebih memahami akan konsep kebahagiaan secara teologis maupun menurut aliran Epicureanisme.
