Abstract

Artikel ini berisi tentang bagaimana kehidupan Paulus dan misinya. Dimana Paulus adalah seorang Rasul yang sangat terkenal dalam Perjanjian Baru. Ia adalah seorang yang awalnya sangat membenci dan menganiaya orang Kristen atau Para pengikut Kristus. Ia adalah seorang yang berusaha untuk menjauhi perintah-perintah Tuhan dan hukum Taurat. Namun perjumpaannya dengan Yesus Kristus dalam perjalanannya ke Damsyik membawa perubahan yang sangat besar dalam kehidupannya. Dia yang awalnya adalah seorang penganiaya,kini menjadi seorang yang sangat taat akan perintah Tuhan. Bahkan ia menjadi rasul yang sangat terkenal dalam pemberitaan Injil. Surat-surat yang ia tulis kepada jemaat-jemaat, membawa dampak yang sangat besar terhadap jemaat tersebut. Karena imannya kepada Yesus Kristus dan pemberitaan Injil yang ia lakukan,ia rela dipenjarakan. Lalu apa sebenarnya yang menjadi misi Paulus?. Hal inilah yang akan penulis jelaskan dalam artikel ini. Adapun metode yang penulis gunakan ialah Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam studi kasus ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan melakukan studi pustaka, yaitu membaca buku-buku sebagai refrensi dalam meyusun teori dan studi lapangan untuk mencari data dengan teknik observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa posisi Paulus ialah seorang Rasul dengan misi untuk memberitakan Injil keseluru dunia.
