Abstract

Pemikiran ekonomi Abu Ubaid dan Abu Yusuf adalah keduanya merupakan tokoh penting dalam sejarah pemikiran ekonomi Islam yang memberikan kontribusi berharga dalam memahami ilmu ekonomi berdasarkan prinsip-prinsip Islam. Abu Ubaid menekankan prinsip keadilan ekonomi, menekankan pada penetapan tarif pajak yang adil dan pengelolaan tanah yang kurang produktif untuk kepentingan rakyat, Selain itu, ia memahami pentingnya uang sebagai alat tukar yang diterima secara luas di masyarakat. Abu Yusuf, sebaliknya, mempunyai pandangan luas terhadap berbagai aspek perekonomian, khususnya perpajakan. Kontribusinya terhadap sistem perpajakan dan kebijakan makroekonomi sangatlah penting
