Peran Dakwah Dalam Meminimalisir Budaya Pa’Lipa Pute Katteong Di Kabupaten Pinrang

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran dakwah dalam meminimalisir budaya pa’lipa pute katteong di Kabupaten Pinrang, sebagaimana diketahui menurut bahasa dakwah berasal dari kata da’a yang artinya memanggil, mengundang, ajakan, imbauan dan hidangan. Sedangkan secara etimologi dakwah berasal dari bahasa arab dari kata da’a-yad’u?da’watan. Kata tersebut memiliki kesamaan makna dengan an Nida’ yang artinya memanggil, mengajak, menyeru. Budaya pa’lipa pute katteong di Kabupaten Pinrang sudah sangat lama menjadi kepercayaan orang-orang. Dapat diketahui bahwa budaya pa’lipa pute memiliki ritual khusus untuk dapat meminta sesuatu di makam pa’lipa pute. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, diharapkan dari penelitian ini dapat menjadi pengetahuan baru bagi masyarakat agar tidak lagi mempercayai budaya-budaya yang mengarah kepada kemusyrikan.
