Abstract

Hadis merupakan salah satu sumber ajaran islam yang sangat penting, baik secara struktural maupun fungsional. Secara struktural meduduki posisi ke dua setelah al-Qur’an, akan tetapi secara fungsional, ia merupakan bayan terhadap ayat-ayat al-Qur’an yang bersifat ‘am, mujmal,atau mutlaq. Segala sesuatu yang disampaikan Rasulullah adalah wahyu. Sehingga tidak dimungkinkannya pertentangan satu hadis dngan hadis yang lainnya. Namun dalam realitanya banyak hadis yang secara dhohir saling bertentangan. Hal inilah yang membuat kita bagaimana bersikap ketika menemui pertentangan hadis (muktalif hadis). Artikel ini membahas hadis-hadis mukhtalif dan cara penyelesainnya yang membantu kita untuk dapat brsikap dan memahami hadis yang secara dhohir saling bertentangan.
