Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Menjelaskan secara singkat tentang Pancasila, (2) Menjelaskan isi sila ketiga Pancasila, (3) Mendeskripsikan fakta keberagaman bangsa Indonesia, dan (4) Menunjukkan peran sila ketiga Pancasila dalam mempersatukan kemajemukan di Indonesia. Metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kepustakaan. Objek yang diteliti adalah peran sila ketiga Pancasila dalam mempersatukan keberagaman bangsa Indonesia. Wujud data dalam penelitian ini berupa Pancasila khususnya sila ketiga Pancasila, fakta keberagaman bangsa Indonesia, dan beberapa kasus yang berhubungan dengan fakta kemajemukan bangsa Indonesia. Wujud data dalam penelitian ini berupa Pancasila khususnya sila ketiga Pancasila, fakta keberagaman bangsa Indonesia, dan beberapa kasus yang berhubungan dengan fakta kemajemukan bangsa Indonesia. Sumber data utama yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah literatur-literatur serta berbagai imformasi penting yang berhubungan dengan tema skripsi ini. Imformasi-imformasi tersebut diperoleh melalui buku, kamus, ensiklopedi, dan media massa. Langkah-langkah yang dilakukan untuk mengumpulkan data ditempuh dengan pertama, membaca literatur-literatur yang berhubungan dengan sila-sila Pancasila khususnya sila ketiga Pancasila dan membaca literatur-literatur serta mengumpulkan berbagai imformasi yang berhubungan dengan fakta kemajemukan di Indonesia. Kedua, mengumpulkan imformasi-imformasi dan mempelajari beberapa teori yang relevan dengan tema penelitian. Ketiga, mencatat dan menganalisis konsep-konsep sila ketiga Pancasila untuk menemukan perannya dalam mempersatukan keberagaman di Indonesia.
