Abstract

Menurut Plato, memang ada kehidupan setelah kematian fisik, yang dia kaitkan dengan jiwa. Plato selalu memandang jiwa sebagai entitas yang ada di luar tubuh fisik. Sementara tubuh ditakdirkan untuk mati, jiwa bertahan, abadi, dan dalam keadaan tertentu ditakdirkan untuk pergi ke suatu tempat. Metode penelitian adalah penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian kualitatif adalah pengumpulan data dalam lingkungan alam dengan tujuan menafsirkan isu-isu yang relevan dengan makna agama, keadaan dunia, keragaman orang, tindakan agama, kepercayaan dan kepentingan menggunakan berbagai bentuk agama. fokus pada hal-hal yang menyebabkan perbedaan makna. Menurut Plato, kehidupan setelah kematian didasarkan pada pemisahan jiwa dari tubuh. Tubuh tak bernyawa membusuk dan perlahan-lahan larut sementara roh beralih ke makhluk lain yang lebih tinggi atau lebih rendah dari sebelumnya. Roh kembali suci setelah melalui proses inkarnasi.
