Abstract

Pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di sekolah terdiri dari empat aspek keterampilan berbahasa, yaitu menyimak, berbicara, membaca, dan menulis. Keempat keterampilan ini saling berkaitan satu sama lain. Keterampilan menulis merupakan keterampilan yang perlu dilatih secara intensif kepada siswa dibandingkan keterampilan lainnya, sebab siswa beranggapan bahwa keterampilan menulis merupakan hal yang sulit. Menulis merupakan kegiatan yang produktif dan ekspresif sehingga keterampilan ini tidak datang dengan sendirinya akan tetapi membutuhkan latihan dan kebiasaan yang berkelanjutan. Kemampuan menulis seseorang didapatkan ketika berada di bangku sekolah. Mulai diajarkan dari Sekolah Dasar hingga Perguruan Tinggi, namun tidak semua orang mampu mengutarakan ide dan pikirannya dengan tertulis secara baik (Zulhafizh dkk, 2022).
