Abstract

Teori Kepemimpinan Awal • Teori Perilaku • Studi Universitas Iowa (Kurt Lewin) • •Mengidentifikasi tiga gaya kepemimpinan: • Gaya otokratis: otoritas terpusat, partisipasi rendah • Gaya demokratis: keterlibatan, partisipasi tinggi, umpan balik • Gaya Laissez faire: manajemen lepas tangan • Temuan penelitian: hasil yang beragam • Tidak ada gaya tertentu yang secara konsisten lebih baik dalam menghasilkan kinerja yang lebih baik. • Karyawan lebih puas jika dipimpin oleh pemimpin yang demokratis dibandingkan dengan pemimpin yang otokratis.
