Abstract

Koperasi syariah didirikan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan bersama antara anggota koperasi pada khususnya dan masyarakat pada umumnya, serta turut membangun tatanan perekonomian yang berbasis kerakyatan dan berkeadilan serta sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip Islam. Koperasi syariah adalah badan usaha koperasi yang menjalankan usahanya dengan prinsip-prinsip syariah. Koperasi syariah atau Koperasi Jasa Keuangan Syariah bergerak di bidang simpan pinjam dalam bentuk tabungan dan pembiayaan yang diperuntukkan bagi pengusaha kecil dan menengah. Di antara dasar hukumnya adalah Kepmen Koperasi dan UKM No. 91/Kep/M.KUKM/IX/2004 tentang Petunjuk Pelaksanaan Kegiatan Usaha Koperasi Jasa Keuangan Syariah (KJKS). Tujuan Koperasi Syariah, adalah untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan anggotanya dan kesejahteraan masyarakat dan ikut serta dalam membangun perekonomian Indonesia berdasarkan prinsip-prinsip islam. Salah satu landasan hukum koperasi syariah ialah Q.S. Al-Maidah (2), Q.S. As-Sad (24).
