Abstract

Koperasi mungkin sudah tidak asing bagi masyarakat. Namun sering ditemukan, realita bahwa baik masyarakat maupun pengelola koperasi banyak yang tidak memahami inti koperasi yang sebenarnya, sehingga seringkali koperasi dijalankan tidak mengikuti aturan dan norma koperasi yang sesungguhnya. Jenis-jenis koperasi menurut UU No. 25 Tahun 1992 tentang Perkoperasian. Selain itu menurut PP No. 60 Tahun 1959 Tentang Perkembangan Gerakan Koperasi, terdapat jenis koperasi yang ditekankan pada lapangan usaha dan/atau tempat tinggal para anggota sesuatu koperasi. Di Indonesia pada umumnya hampir semua jenis koperasi melakukan penjenjangan sampai dengan tingkat induk atau setingkat dengan induk.
