Golpe de 2016 Explicado com um Gráfico

Abstract

Em 2016, a então presidente Dilma Rousseff foi afastada da presidência do Brasil sob acusações de ter ferido a Lei de Responsabilidade Fiscal (LRF). O Tribunal de Contas da União (TCU) alegou que o Governo Federal atrasou o repasse de recursos para bancos públicos. Esses repasses seriam referentes a pagamentos de programas sociais (Bolsa Família e Minha Casa Minha Vida), sob responsabilidade do Ministério do Desenvolvimento Social e Combate à Fome (MDS). Essas supostas práticas ilegais teriam como objetivo maquiar as contas públicas para cumprir metas fiscais. Os adversários políticos de Dilma Rousseff utilizaram o termo “pedaladas fiscais” para se referirem a essas alegadas irregularidades. Essa expressão pejorativa foi amplamente ecoada pela imprensa brasileira. No entanto, evidências técnicas e decisões judiciais mostraram que as acusações eram infundadas, configurando o episódio como Golpe de 2016.
