E-Commerce Adoption Pada Negara Berkembang

Abstract

Pergeseran dinamika pembangunan dan konsumsi e-niaga mendefinisikan (dan agak membatasi) ruang lingkup dan konteks adopsi e-niaga di negara-negara berkembang. Di negara-negara berkembang yang kekurangan daya beli, mekanisme pembayaran yang disederhanakan (misalnya layanan kredit yang mapan) atau sejumlah besar vendor (penjual online) dan pengirim barang, e-niaga sering condong ke informasi daripada konsumsi produk. Mengingat kendala telepon rumah dan harga komputer yang tinggi, pengguna di negara berkembang sering menggunakan warnet dan ponsel untuk e-niaga. Akibatnya, praktik e-niaga di negara berkembang terutama bergantung pada informasi dan penyediaan konten dan konsumsi daripada pembelian online.
