Abstract

The manuscript, "Enhancing Data Literacy in the Global South Through Culturally Relevant Pedagogy," aligns with the scope of Language, Culture, and Diversity as it addresses the critical need for inclusive and equitable education practices by integrating culturally relevant pedagogy into data literacy initiatives. This work emphasizes the importance of recognizing and leveraging the diverse cultural identities, knowledge systems, and sociocultural contexts of learners in the Global South, which aligns with the journal's focus on fostering diverse, multilingual, and multicultural leadership. By promoting educational models that honor local knowledge and bridge global inequities, the manuscript contributes to international conversations about access, equity, and the transformative potential of education.
