Abstract

Hadis ialah sebagai sumber hukum kedua setelah al-Qur’an. Akan tetapi ada hadis yang tergolong agak sulit dipahami yaitu hadis yang bertentangan satu sama lain atau dikenal dengan sebutan hadis mukhtalif. Hadis mukhtalif merupakan hadis yang secara dzohir tampak bertentangan. Cara untuk menyelesaikan hadis yang nampak bertentangan atau kontradiksi memang perlu metode dalam menyelesaikan hadis. Dalam ilmu hadis mukhtalif Artikel ini membahas konsep mukhtalif hadis dan metode penyelesaian. Apabila ada hadis yang nampak saling bertentangan ada beberapa metode untuk menyelesaikannya, dalam ilmu hadis mukhtalif metode yang digunakan yakni menggunakan metode, pertama metode al-jam’u wa al-taufiq, kedua metode naskh wal mansukh, ketiga metode tajrih, keempat metode tawaqquf.
