Abstract

Etnis mandar sebagai kelompok etnis yang dominan mendiami sebagian besar wilayah di Sulawesi Barat, khususnya di kabupaten Polewali Mandar masih sarat akan budaya serta tradisi yang masih terus dipertahankan oleh sebagian besar masyarakat. Dalam budaya mandar, masih terdapat bentuk-bentuk pengobatan yang secara tradisi masih sering digunakan secara turun-temurun dengan menggunakan bahan dari alam serta pengobat tradisional yang disebut sando.
