Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan buat mengetahui kemampuan menulis surat dinas siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 45 Pekanbaru. .Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknologi Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui 3 tahap ,yaitu; (1)observasi, (2)tes ,(3) dokumentasi. Masalah penelitian ini membahas mengenai bagaimana kemampuan menulis surat dinas siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 45 Pekanbaru. Berdasarkan evaluasi kemampuan menulis surat dinas siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 45 Pekanbaru, nilai tertinggi yang diperoleh siswa adalah 95 dan nilai terendah adalah 60. Namun demikian, total nilai yang diperoleh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 45 Pekanbaru menunjukkan bahwa mereka mampu menulis surat dinas dengan baik. Dari jumlah murid sebanyak 38 orang, keseluruhan murid kelas VII disebut mampu dalam menulis surat dinas. Berdasarkan evaluasi pada tabel 02, nilai tertinggi yang diperoleh oleh murid adalah 95 yang dipegang oleh 9 orang, sedangkan nilai terendah adalah 60 yang diperoleh oleh 4 orang. Secara keseluruhan, kemampuan menulis surat dinas oleh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 45 Pekanbaru dikatakan mampu dengan nilai 83 (baik/tuntas) sesuai dengan KKM yang ditetapkan yaitu 75
