Abstract

Angka Indeks adalah suatu angka yang dibuat sedemikian rupa sehingga dapat dipergunakan untuk melakukan perbandingan antara kegiatan yang sama, (produksi ekspor, hasil penjualan, jumlah uang beredar dan sebagainya) dalam dua waktu yang berbeda. Maka dari itu kita dapat mengetahui secara detail Angka indeks untuk data seperti menentukan tahun dasar, menentukan angka indeks relative sederhana, angka indeks agregatif sederhana dan lain-lain. Ada 2 metode analisis yaitu metode paasche adalah angka indeks yang tertimbang dengan faktor penimbangnya kuantitas tahun n (Tahun yang dihitung angka indeksnya) atau Qn. Metode laspeyres merupakan angka indeks yang ditimbang dengan faktor penimbangnya yaitu kuantitas di tahun dasar atau awal tahun (Qo). Jadi, indeks laspeyres pada tahun 2004 mengalami kenaikan sebesar 5%. Tujuannya adalah Sebagai barometer atau petunjuk dari keadaan ekonomi secara umum. Sebagai pedoman dalam menetapkan berbagai kebijakan dan juga administrasi perusahaan. Sebagai deflator. Sebagai pedoman untuk membeli berbagai jenis barang. Sebagai pedoman untuk mengatur upah gaji buruh atau untuk menyesuaikan kenaikan gaji buruh saat terjadi inflasi.
