Determinan Konsumsi Rumah Tangga: Upaya Optimaliasi Pemulihan Perekonomian Indonesia

Abstract

Komponen konsumsi rumah tangga belum optimal untuk mendukung pemulihan ekonomi pasca pandemi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh variabel makroekonomi terhadap konsumsi rumah tangga sebagai upaya optimalisasi pemulihan perekonomian Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder tahun 2010 sampai 2020 yang bersumber dari Badan Pusat Statistik dengan jumlah observasi sebesar 363 yang terdiri dari 33 provinsi selama 11 tahun di Indonesia. Kalimantan Utara sebagai provinsi baru analisisnya digabungkan dengan Kalimantan Timur untuk memudahkan pengolahan data. Metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu Panel Fixed-Effects Model. Data diolah dengan software stata 14.2. Hasil penelitian yaitu seluruh variabel independen yang diteliti yaitu konsumsi pemerintah, pendapatan per kapita, dan jumlah penduduk kecuali aset berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan konsumsi rumah tangga. Kebijakan yang dapat diambil pemerintah adalah menyesuaikan upah minimum sesuai dengan kenaikan inflasi agar dapat menjaga pendapatan penduduk Indonesia tidak melemah secara riil. Kebijakan subsidi upah pada saat pemulihan ekonomi juga diperlukan agar dapat membantu para pengusaha terdampak Covid-19.
