Tren pasar dan tingkat persaingan penting bagi bisnis karena membantu menyusun strategi masa depan. Analisis industri dan para pesaing membantu anda untuk memahami posisi pasar industry, analisis industri membantu pengusaha atau perusahaan rintisan untuk memahami posisi bisnis dan cara mengatasi para pesaing agar bisnis bisa kompetitif. Pentingnya analisis industri membantu Anda mengenali ancaman dan peluang yang akan datang dan bagaimana Anda dapat menanganinya dengan poin kuat Anda. Satu-satunya cara untuk bertahan dalam lingkungan bisnis saat ini adalah membedakan diri Anda dari para pesaing dalam industry.
