Abstract

Koperasi syariah merupakan aktivitas usaha yang bergerak pada bidang simpanan, pembiayaan, dan investasi berdasarkan penerapan system bagi hasil (syariah). Koperasi syariah ini memiliki 2 latar belakang pendirian dan kegiatan yang hampir seimbang posisinya, yakni sebagai lembaga keuangan mikro dan sebagai lembaga keuangan syariah. Melihat dari prinsip-prinsip yang ada dalam koperasi, maka tidak ada hal yang bertentangan dengan dengan syariat islam, lembaga ini telah sesuai dengan nilai-nilai islam. Akan tetapi, perlu ada penyempurnaan dan pemantauan dalam system koperasi yaitu harus terhindar dari riba, maysir, gharar, dan ataupun bathil.
