Abstract

Hyperemesis gravidarum adalah mual muntah yang berlebihan pada ibu hamil dengan fekuensi >10 kali sehari, sehingga menimbulkan gangguan aktifitas sehari-hari dan bahkan dapat membahayakan hidup ibu hamil jika tidak ditangani bahkan bisa menyebabkan kematian. Mual dan muntah yang terus menerus dapat menyebabkan dehidrasi, hiponatremia, hipokloremia, penurunan klorida urin, selanjutnya terjadi hemokonsentrasi yang mengurangi perfusi darah ke jaringan dan menyebabkan tertimbunnya zat toksik.
