Abstract

Crowdfunding telah muncul sebagai metode atau praktek penggalangan dana dari sejumlah besar orang untuk memodali suatu proyek atau usaha, biasanya penggalangan dana ini dilakukan melalui internet. Adanya crowdfunding ini biasanya diawali dengan ide kreatif untuk berbisnis dan menghasilkan profit. Namun, tak lain juga untuk bisnis yang mengejar nilai social bukan untuk profit. Metode ini merupakan bagian dari inovasi teknologi financial atau biasa dikenal dengan industry FinTech (financial technologi). Fintech merupakan industry financial berbasis teknologi,terutama internet yang diaplikasikan sebagai sektor layanan jasa keuangan.
