Organizational Influence in the Public Speaking Development of KPI UIN Pekalongan Students

An organization, both intra, and extra-campus, usually has a positive impact on its members. One of the positive impacts is the increase in public speaking skills. As a student, public speaking skills are fundamental to master. Because later, if you have graduated and are asking to enter the community, public speaking skills are needed to communicate to the broader community. Especially for Islamic Broadcasting Communication (KPI) students, where communication is something they must master. This study aims to describe what activities are held by intraand extra-campus organizations that can increase the public speaking skills of KPI UIN K.H Abdurrahman Wahid students. The method used is a qualitative approach by filling out questionnaires through google form media and some who do direct interviews. The sample used is KPI semester two students because they are still new. Even though they have only been active in organizing for 4-6 months, they have already felt some of the positive impacts of organizing. The results of this study can be concluded that joining the organization can improve the ability in public speaking. Activities that can improve public speaking in each organization are different. However, some things are typical, such as actively participating in every meeting and evaluation held by each organization.
