Abstract

Bekerja adalah kegiatan ekonomi yang dilakukan oleh seseorang dengan maksud memperoleh atau membantu memperoleh pendapat atau keuntungan, manusia sebagai kodrat pribadinya akan membutuhkan makan, mencari nafkah membutukan rezeki di segala waktu dan keadaan, dari kecil hingga hingga dewasa dan seterusnya higga mencapai usia tua sekalipun. Bekerja juga merupakan perbuatan mulia dalam rangka mewujudkan kemaslahatan individu dan masyarakan. Bekerja dalam sistem ekonomi islam merupakan keharusan sebagai suatu kewajiban syara dan dipandang ibadah bagi orang yang melakukanya. Sehingga segala bentuk pengangguran seperti meminta minta dipandang sebagai perbuatan terscela. Bekerja mendapat perhatian khusus baik dalam alquran maupun hadist-hadist Nabi Muhammad SAW.
