Abstract

Pameran bisnis merupakan jenis pameran yang diadakan untuk usaha-usaha kecil, menengah, hingga besar. Biasanya, pameran bisnis ini diikuti oleh usaha-usaha dengan latar belakang industri yang sama atau memiliki tema usaha yang mirip. Di pameran ini, usaha?usaha yang memamerkan produk dan jasa mereka akan mempromosikan usaha mereka kepada pengunjung. Seringnya, pengunjung yang datang ke pameran bisnis merupakan konsumen potensial bagi usaha-usaha ini, sehingga pameran bisnis ini menjadi salah satu kesempatan emas bagi usaha-usaha untuk memperluas jangkauan konsumennya. Bagi masyarakat umum selaku konsumen, pameran bisnis ini menjadi lahan yang sempurna untuk mengetahui usaha-usaha baru dan juga membeli barang-barang yang diinginkan. Dengan kata lain, lewat pameran bisnis, masyarakat dapat melakukan transaksi untuk memenuhi kebutuhannya. Sementara itu, pelaksanaan pameran menjadi salah satu keuntungan bagi pemerintah. Hal ini dikarenakan hasil penjualan dari pameran menjadi salah satu pendorong dari kegiatan ekonomi kota, khususnya dari pihak UMKM yang hadir. Dengan ini, perputaran uang dalam kota pun dapat meningkat dan mendukung peningkatan ekonomi.
