Abstract

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ritual mappacekke wanua merupakan ritual yang dilaksanakan secara turun temurun.Ritual ini dilakasanakan dengan tujuan untuk menyampaikan rasa syukurkepada Allah SWT kerena terhindar dari konflik,bencana dan malapetaka.Proses ritual mappacekke wanua memiliki beberapa tahapan,yaitu mallekke wae (mengambil air),maddoja roja(berjaga semalaman),dan mangngeppi wae(memercikkan air).Dalam ritual mappacekke wanua ini ada masyarakat yang menerima dan ada masyarakat yang menolak,masyarakat yang menerima ritual ini sangat antusias apabila dilaksakan ritual ini karena mereka menganggap bahwa ritual ini dapat memperlihatkan nilai kebersaman,menjalin silaturahmi yang baik,nilai religi serta perkenalan budaya yang masi berkembang di tanah luwu, sedangkan yang menolak menganggap bahwa ritual ritual ini sebnarnya tidak sesuai dengan agama yaitu agama islam. Ritual mappacekke wanua di kaji dari segi pandaangan Aqidah islam,pada dasarnya dilakukan dengan syarat tidak lepas dari kenyakinan dan niat masyarakat untuk terjerumus kepada perbuatan musyrik yang sangan merusak Aqidah islam.
