Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang konsep membangun kembali pemerintahan atau reinventing government sebagai upaya untuk mentransformasi sistem pemerint ahan guna menghadapi tantangan dan harapan yang terus berubah dalam masyarakat. Konsep ini melibatkan pemikiran ulang terhadap cara institusi publik beroperasi, memberikan pelayanan, dan berinteraksi dengan warga negara. Artikel ini menjelaskan prinsip-prinsip, strategi, dan manfaat potensial dari membangun kembali pemerintahan. Prinsip-prinsip tersebut meliputi pendekatan berbasis warga, penyederhanaan proses, pemanfaatan teknologi, pengukuran kinerja dan akuntabilitas, serta kolaborasi dan kemitraan. Manfaat dari membangun kembali pemerintahan mencakup penyampaian pelayanan yang lebih baik, transparansi dan kepercayaan, efisiensi dan penghematan biaya, inovasi dan adaptabilitas, serta pemberdayaan warga negara. Artikel ini menekankan pentingnya kepemimpinan yang visioner, komitmen terhadap perubahan, dan kesiapan untuk beradaptasi dalam proses membangun kembali pemerintahan. Dengan menerapkan pendekatan berbasis warga, memanfaatkan teknologi, mendorong kolaborasi, dan memprioritaskan transparansi, pemerintah dapat mentransformasi operasional mereka dan meningkatkan penyampaian pelayanan. Memahami manfaat yang melampaui efisiensi dan penghematan biaya, upaya membangun kembali pemerintahan ini memberdayakan warga negara, membangun kepercayaan, dan memastikan sistem pemerintahan tetap relevan dan responsif di dunia yang terus berkembang.
