Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan Tujan untuk mengetahui dan memperoleh infromasi secara lebih mendalam tentang Heuristika Kepercayaan dan Budaya Tradisional Toraja. Dalam hal ini kita mengenal bagaimana heuristika menemuka sejara budaya Toraja. Ada pun sebagai berikut Sebelum Toraja mengenal Kekristenan atau sebelum orang Toraja memeluk agama Kristen, orang Toraja telah memiliki keparcayaan, yang biasa kita sebut Aluk Todolo yang artinya agama para leluhur. Kebudayaan dan pemahaman-pemahaman masyarakat Toraja sampai saat ini boleh dikata masih dipegang kuat oleh kebanyakan orang Toraja. Mengenai asal mula hamba, terdapat pemahaman yang berbeda. Ada yang mengatakan bahwa status hamba memang berasal dari atas, dari langit.
