Abstract

Tulisan ini ingin membahas tentang upaya pemberdayaan ekonomi pada lembaga kegiatan keagamaan bernama majlis taklim. Pertanyaan penelitian dirumuskan apakah pemberdayaan ekonomi pada lembaga majlis taklim bisa dilakukan. Tulisan ini merupakan laporan penelitian yang dilakukan dengan pendekatan riset aksi. Sasaran riset aksi dilakukan pada lembaga majlis taklim fastabiqul khairat, Kedaung Sawangan depok. Pemberdayaan ekonomi majlis dilakukan dengan dua pola, pertama memberdayakan majlis taklim untuk mengelola jasa simpan pinjam keuangan; kedua memberdayakan jamaah majlis taklim dalam pengembangan usaha produktif. Hasil peneltian menunjukkan bahwa majlis taklim berpotensi untuk diberdayakan secara ekonomi. Dari dua pola tersebut, pemberdayaan majlis taklim untuk jasa simpan pinjam keuangan lebih mudah dipraktekkan daripada pemberdayaan usaha produktif.
