Abstract

Üretim, yaşadığımız doğaya hiç müdahale etmeksizin ortaya çıkan bir fenomen olmakla birlikte, doğanın kendi girdilerini çıktıya dönüştürme gücünden oluşur. Örneğin dağ başında, bir otun büyümesi için; tohum, toprak, su ve güneş gerekli olduğu gibi insanlığın hizmetine sunulması planlanan bir tarımsal ürün için gerekli girdilerin listesi bir hayli uzundur. Bu listenin tümü doğada bulunamayacağına göre bunların sağlanması için ekonomik değer ölçülerine gerek vardır. Bu durumda; ortaya çıkacak ürünün de girdi listesinde yer alan unsurlardan daha büyük ekonomik bir değer taşıması beklenir.
