Abstract

Di Indonesia, bisnis travel tradisional sudah meredup, hampir 60% pemesanan tiket transportasi dan hotel sudah menggunakan online booking melalui OTA, seperti tiket.com (Mardiana, 2017). Perkembangan terkini, keberadaan OTA yang semakin banyak menunjukkan dampak positif internet dalam sektor industri tourism. OTA merupakan salah bentuk aplikasi internet yang memberikan kemudahan pada konsumen remaja untuk melakukan perjalanan dengan memilih langsung akomodasi dan transportasi yang akan digunakan tanpa melalui jalur intermediaries yang panjang. Peran internet menyebabkan OTA menjadi jalur distribusi yang lebih efektif dibandingkan travel agent tradisional (Carroll & Siguaw, 2003; Garces et al., 2004)
