Abstract

Air Terjun Ponot Desa Tangga Kecamatan Aek Songsongan (di Internet sering juga disebut Air Terjun Sigura-gura) adalah salah satu objek wisata andalan Kabupaten Asahan yang memiliki potensi, daya tarik dan nilai jual tinggi jika diikuti dengan aksesibilitas (akses) yang bagus pula. Lokasi yang mudah dijangkau dapat ditempuh dari dua (2) alternatif jalur masuk yakni dari arah Siantar-Porsea ke Sigura-gura dan dari Jalan Lintas Sumatera-Simpang Pulau Rakyat ke Porsea dan ada kendaraan umum yang melintas. Keunikan dan keindahan Air Terjun Ponot dengan ketinggian jatuhnya air lebih kurang 45 meter, bebatuan granit menggantung pada dinding tebing, lingkungan yang masih alami, asri serta udara yang bersih dan segar, suara gemuruh air yang besar, menjadikan objek wisata ini alternatif pilihan tujuan wisata yang tak kalah menarik dibandingkan yang lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial masing-masing variabel bebasnya berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel terikat dimana untuk daya tarik t hitung (2,082) > t tabel (1,99) dan sig < 0,05 yang berarti daya tarik berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat berkunjung wisatawan, begitupula aksesibilitas t hitung (6,085) > t tabel (1,99) dan sig < 0,05 artinya aksesibilitas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat berkunjung wisatawan. Secara simultan Daya Tarik dan Aksesibilitas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Minat Berkunjung Wisatawan ke Air Terjun Ponot Desa tangga Kecamatan Aek Songsongan Kabupaten Asahan dimana nilai F hitung (72,267) > F tabel (3,12) dan sig < 0,05. Persamaan Regresi Linier Berganda dari hasil SPSS diperoleh Y = 3,462 + 0,140 X1 + 0,382 X2 + e dan R² = 0,652 berarti 65,2% Daya Tarik dan Aksesibilitas mampu menjelaskan Minat Berkunjung Wisatawan ke Air Terjun Ponot Desa Tangga Kecamatan Aek Songsongan Kabupaten Asahan sedangkan sisanya 34,8% dijelaskan oleh variabel lain yang belum diteliti.
