Abstract

pelayanan perpustakaan terhadap minat membaca siswa pada perpustakaan MAN 2 Model Medan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah uji validitas, reliabilitas, analisis regresi linier berganda, uji-t, uji-f, dan koefisien determinasi dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 18. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan uji-t untuk variabel fasilitas perpustakaam (X1) yang menghasilkan thitung= 4,556 > ttabel= 2,026 pada tingkat signifikansi (α) = 5% (0,05) dan dari hasil perhitungan uji-t untuk variabel pelayanan perpustakaan (X2) yang menghasilkan thitung= 5,569 > ttabel= 2,026 pada tingkat signifikansi (α) = 5% (0,05). Secara bersama-sama (uji F) fasilitas perpustakaan (X1) dan pelayanan perpustakaan (X2) berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap minat membaca siswa kelas XI MAN 2 Model Medan. Hal ini bisa dilihat dari hasil perhitungan uji F dimana nilai signifikansi 0,000. Dimana disyaratkan nilai signifikansi F lebih kecil dari 5% atau 0,05 atau nilai F hitung = 49,536 > F tabel 3,25. Sedangkan hasil koefisien determinasi (R2) sebesar 0,750, artinya secara bersama-sama fasilitas perpustakaan dan pelayanan perpustakaan terhadap minat membaca siswa mampu menjelaskan pada taraf yang kuat. Kemudian koefisien determinasi (R2) sebesar 0,563 (56,3%). Sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa 56,3% variasi variabel terikat yaitu fasilitas perpustakaan dan pelayanan perpustakaan pada model dapat menjelaskan minat membaca siswa sedangkan sisanya sebesar 43,7% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain di luar model.
