Inégalités patrimoniales et insécurité financière des ménages

Abstract

L'insécurité financière des ménages est une préoccupation croissante dans les pays de l'OCDE, en particulier pour ceux qui se situent dans la moitié inférieure de la distribution des richesses. Ces ménages ne disposent pas des ressources nécessaires pour faire face aux chocs de revenus. Au cours de la période qui a précédé la crise du COVID-19, de nombreux ménages étaient surendettés et près de la moitié des personnes à faible revenu ne disposaient pas d'une épargne d'urgence. Pour relever ces défis, les gouvernements doivent se concentrer sur des politiques qui favorisent la constitution de richesses pour les ménages les plus pauvres, tout en limitant la concentration des richesses parmi les 10 % de ménages les plus riches.
