Abstract

This paper forms part of an OECD project which addressed the issue of the structure and change in the distribution systems of seven OECD countries.This paper gives an overview of the structure, policy and performance of the French distribution system for the period 1970-90. This analysis is then put into the perspective of international competition. It also draws some recommendations for future policy in this area ... Ce document fait partie d'un projet de l'OCDE qui avait pour objet l'analyse de la structure et des changements dans les systmes de distribution dans sept pays de l'OCDE.Tout d'abord, cette tude prsente une discussion du rle des systmes de distribution dans la performance de l'ensemble de l'conomie. Ensuite, elle donne une vue d'ensemble de la structure et de l'volution des systmes de distribution dans l'Allemagne de l'Ouest pendant la priode 1970-88. Finalement, sont analyss l'impact de la rglementation et de la loi sur la concurrence sur le secteur de distribution de biens de consommation ...
