Abstract

The paper examines Serbia’s absolute and relative indicators relating to FDI flows and goods exports. Serbia has come a long way from politically and economically isolated to an open country, comparable with other countries of similar size and development level, as confirmed by the calculated relative indicators. Based on the past tendencies, in the future we can also expect Serbia’s indicators to be above-average in case of direct investments inflow and goods exports relative to global indicators.
