Impacto de los cambios en el precio de los alimentos sobre el bienestar de los hogares

Abstract

El objetivo general de este capítulo consiste en estimar la demanda de alimentos a partir del sistema de demanda QUAIDS para Argentina para el período 2017-2018 y derivar a partir del mismo, medidas de cambio en el bienestar de los hogares. Estas medidas permiten aproximar un cálculo sobre la cantidad de ingresos que deberían recibir los hogares, ante cambios en los precios, para mantener el nivel de vida previo a esos cambios. Para lograr este objetivo se propone estimar las elasticidades precio e ingreso de los alimentos y simular el efecto que tienen los aumentos en el precio de los alimentos sobre el bienestar económico de los hogares.
